After the success of youth-oriented film ‘Wake Up Sid’, Karan Johar is back with yet another energeticmovie, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’. I Hate Luv Storys is a upcoming hindi movie in which Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoorare in main roles. UTV Motion Pictures and Dharma Production's I HATE LUV STORYS all set to hit the screenson 2nd July 2010. Movie producers will be Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by debutante Punit Malhotra, nephew of designer Manish Malhotra. The Music of the film is given by Vishal & Shekhar and lyrics penned by Anvita Dutt, Kumaar & Vishal Dadlani. The lead roles have been portrayed by Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor, while Sammir Dattani and Sameer Soni play effective supporting roles.

Jay Dhingra (Imran Khan) is die-hard cynic, one of those upper-class Mumbai dudes, who he lives by the mantra “I hate love stories”. However, working as an assistant director to Veer Kapoor (Sameer Soni), the renowned ‘romantic’ filmmaker of Indian Film Industry, Jay has little option but to live with the larger than life, glossy, cinematic love. All this is only to achieve his biggest dream - to make it big in Bollywood. He is designated to work under the new production designer of the film, Simran Sharma (Sonam Kapoor). This romantic comedy is a love story between all three characters. Sonam and Sammir are in love and Imran comes in from the third angle and falls for Sonam. She has to decide who she truly loves. Although Imran Khan plays Samir’s assistant director, he hates the idea of making love stories as he plays a casanova in the film.

Khatta Meetha (2010) is a remake of old super hit comedy Khatta Meetha (1989). Film is starring Akshay Kumar and my favorite Trisha Krishnan as lead roles. Paresh Raval, Rajpal Yadav and Urvashi Sharma are playing supportive roles. The Forthcoming Film is directed by Priydarshan and producer is Akshay himself. It will be a The film is a satirical comedy. Khatta Meetha is scheduled to be released on July 23, 2010. The Movie will have 6 songs by Pritam.

The southern siren Trisha is making her Bollywood debut with the film “Khatta Meetha” with Akshay Kumar. According to reports, the film is a satirical comedy on misuse on government funds by government contractors responsible for highway construction and repair in India. It is partly a reflection on the rampant use of fake material so that the contractor keeps making money by fixing the same stretches of roads over and over again.


The story revolves around road mafia and corruption in the construction business. Akhay Kumar's character as Sachin Tichkule - a 37 years old road constructor. Trisha plays his college time love interest with whom he broke up and now a PWD Officer. The film story is about Road Gang. It shows that how the bad roads are being made. It has shown the truth of the system of India that how sometimes the road becomes only paper written and sometime a single road is made twice in order to earn money. The film is having South star Trisha Krishnan, Urvashi Sharma and Paresh Rawal.

Raavan, One of the most awaited films of the year. Mani Ratnam is reportedly producing a present day version of the Indian epic Ramayana which tells the story of Rama, whose wife Sita is abducted by the demon (Rākshasa) king of Lanka, Ravana.Mani Ratnam had earlier directed Thalapathi which bore close resemblance to the Mahabharata. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram in the lead roles while Govinda, Ravi Kishan. Aishwarya Rai plays a contemporary Sita, appearing as an accomplished Carnatic Musician in both versions of Mani Ratnam's films and A.R. Rehman’s mesmerizing music that needs no introduction.

The story of Raavan revolves around Abhishek Bachchan playing the title role of Ravana whose sister suffers humiliation at the hands of Vikram, the south star. To seek revenge he kidnaps Vikram’s wife played by Aishwarya Rai and elopes in the woods later to fall in love. Raavan is not a story but a world. Dev (Vikram), a policeman, falls in love with Ragini (Ashwariya), a classical dancer. They are both unconventional. They get married and he takes her to his new post in Lal Maati, a small town in northern India. A town where the word of law is not the police but Beera, a tribal who has, over the years, shifted the power equation of the place from the ruling to the have-nots of the area. Govinda enters the story just a Hanuman to help Vikram find his wife and Ravi Kissan is Abhishek’s trusted friend in the movie. Isn’t it Ramayana with lot of new twists? Raavan has been shot in numerous locations around India including the forests of Kerala, Ooty, Jhansi, Kolkata, and in Maharashtra at Mahabaleshwari and in the Malshej Ghats. Major plot of the movie unfolds in dense forests, so the movie is mostly shot in outdoor locations in forests. The movies also sports Kaliripayatu Martial Arts, has great stunts and action sequences. It is produced by mani ratnam’s Chennai based Madras Talkies. Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed Aishwarya Rai’s costumes in the film.
