Leggy blonde beauty Mischa Barton, 20, insists that rampant rumors of an engagement to boyfriend Cisco Adler are not true.

Just 18 months ago, Whitestarr rocker Adler was engaged to Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberley, who said of new fiance at the time:

"He's my best friend, my lover, my soulmate - he really is my everything." She even had a tattoo done, declaring her love for Cisco and her rock star dad, saying: 'Daddy's Little Girl Loves Cisco'.

According to published reports, the OC star and her rocker beau have only been dating for five months, but everyone nonetheless can't leave the subject of impending nuptials alone.

Adler says, "It (an engagement) is not true. The love is young!"

The Whitestarr lead singer is said to be wearing a lock necklace that only Barton has the keys to, which she wears around her neck.

In recent news, the lovely Mischa's career is looking to the heights, as she is apparently at the top of a list of candidates to bring Supergirl back to the big screen.

"If Superman Returns does as well as expected this summer then Supergirl will be pushed into the schedule," reveals one movie insider. "There are a few actresses in the reckoning and Mischa is at the top of that list." postchronicle

Police Found Marijuana And Prescription Drugs On Mischa Barton

Actress Mischa Barton had been smoking marijuana when she was arrested by police for driving under the influence on Thursday morning, according to reports.
The former The O.C. star was pulled over by West Hollywood cops in the early hours of Thursday when she was spotted straddling two lanes of traffic. She was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, but was also booked for possession of narcotics and driving on a suspended license.

And the 21-year-old, who scored a 0.12 on a breathalyser test, was also found to have marijuana on her person, as well as prescription drugs which were not in her name, according to TMZ.com.
She is currently free on $10,000 bail after being released on Thursday night.

Mischa Barton Arrested for DUI

Mischa Barton has been arrested for misdemeanor DUI, according to a police report obtained by Usmagazine.com.

She has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, according to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. John Hocking. She has been ordered to appear in Beverly Hills Court on February 28, 2008.

The actress, 21, was pulled over early around 3 a.m. this morning in West Hollywood after deputies saw her car straddling two lanes of traffic and failing to signal while making a turn. The Web site Hollyscoop.com first reported the news.

She was held on $10,000 bail. She was released around 10:05 a.m. Thursday. Her mother picked her up in a black Mercedes. Her mom carried the paperwork. Mischa walked out with her arms crossed, covering her face with a scarf. She tried to lay down in the back of the car. She was given a police escort so nobody could follow her.

In May, the former star of The O.C. was rushed to the hospital after mixing antibiotics and a "s—tload" of alcohol. Her younger sister, Hania, entered rehab earlier this year at the age of 19 for addiction to painkillers.
